Digital:Convergence CueTV
The CueTV is not a TV tuner card. The CueTV connects your TV to your PC where the TV during certain
TV shows and commercials use audio cues to tell the PC to go certain websites. You have to plug in a cable from
the sound output on your TV to the line-in or audio-in jack (the microphone jack may work also) for the sound card
on your PC. Go to Radio Shack and ask for the CueCat/CueTV.
WebChoiceTV uses only beeps & your sound card
(expired.link)
This is NOT a substitute for a TV tuner card, but if you don't have a TV tuner card right now then
try WebChoiceTV on your computer using your PC, a TV set, and the sound card in your PC.
WebChoiceTV uses your sound card input to interpret beeps from your TV set. The beeps
are interpreted by the WebChoiceTV software as directions to your web browser to access
a URL that corresponds with whatever is happening on TV shows such as
the Wild Wild Web TV show, the
TV shows on the Game Show Network, and
Stargate SG-1.
This is NOT a substitute for a TV tuner card, but try WebChoiceTV to coordinate your TV set
with your PC when watching those shows on your TV set.
